Mr. Haynes has significant experience working with the Affordable Care Act and its complicated web of rules and regulations. As a specialist in health care and employment law, Mr. Haynes frequently advises both individual and corporate clients regarding physician practice regulations, employment contracts, and corporate policies. He also focuses on the evolving use of technology in health care and the legal concerns related to the use of patient data through the Internet.
Additionally, Mr. Haynes has spent hundreds of hours designing and delivering effective and engaging training programs. He regularly uses this experience to craft custom and interactive compliance trainings on HIPAA, the Affordable Care Act, and other legal topics for clients.
Mr. Haynes earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Administration and Master of Science Degree in Human Resources and Organizational Development, with a focus on employee benefits and training, from Eastern Michigan University. Mr. Haynes received his Juris Doctor degree from the Penn State University Dickinson School of Law, where he specialized in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and federal regulatory law.
In addition to being a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Mr. Haynes serves on the Board of Directors for the Detroit Association for Talent Development and teaches Employee Benefits courses at Oakland University.
